LIVE Class Day/Time: Thursdays 2:00pm CDT
Discover the accomplishments of diverse actors, writers, and producers while learning how to work on monologues, scenes, and songs from musicals. Each class will begin with vocal, facial, and physical warm-ups with upbeat music so be ready to MOVE! Most importantly, we will discuss how inclusive performance art can impact our world.
Tools needed for this class include (but are not limited to):
1) Notebook, Pencil (with an eraser), and highlighter
2) Access to the internet with strong WiFi for class and YouTube links
3) Access to a printer to print out scripts
4) Readiness to be “seen for scenes” during live zoom classes
Instructor: Elizabeth June is a professional actor, singer, published writer, and teaching artist. She has taught drama for grades 1-12 and creative writing for grades 6-12. Miss June is also a public speaker and storyteller for Black History programs for schools, churches, and civic organizations. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the Actors Studio Drama School in New York.
Should you need to cancel a class, refunds will be handled in the following way: 90% will be refunded through May 22, 2022. 50% will be refunded May 23-May 30. No refunds after May 30.
